"I met Sara several years ago as part of BD Southern region teams when I had the pleasure of competing alongside Sara and her beautiful horses. Her positivity and enthusiasm for the sport and the horses, makes her a great team player. Sara has become an extremely valuable part of my team for my horses over the last couple of years. Sara treats the horses like she does any of her own, so you never have to worry about their care or wellbeing. I’m very grateful to have Sara’s support, knowledge and experience to continue helping me, particularly with my young horse and our future journey."

"I started having lessons with Sara many years ago and now have the pleasure of having my mare on livery at her yard in Basingstoke. Sara's horsemanship, standards of care and compassion towards both horse and rider are second to none! She will pick up and work through any potential issues a horse has, and no matter how big or small, from the bottom up all whilst treating your horse as one of her own. I trust Sara explicitly with the care of my mare and would not hesitate to recommend her."

"Sara started riding my horse when I had an accident and was unable to ride for a few months. Sara took the time to understand my ability and goals and rode my horse in order to ensure I wa able to safely get back on. Since then I have been having lessons with Sara regularly and I really look forward to my lessons, I always feel like we have achieved something and we have moved up the levels. Above all I trust Sara to do what is right for the horse and w are currently at her yard on training livery. She treats them like her own and ensures that they have the best care possible. My horse is working better than ever and is happy and healthy, what more could you want!"

I’ve been a livery with Sara Malpass Dressage for 18 months now which has completely transformed my horse (and my riding).

Sara is a very intuitive rider, extremely knowledgeable, skilful, brave and with seemingly endless patience with horses and riders alike! Her love for the horses is always at the forefront of everything she does and the standard of care is impeccable - all the liveries are cared for as if they were her own. I never have to worry about my horse, and that gives me great peace of mind.

I met Sara several years ago and have followed her accomplishments and successes since then. I love her motivational and inspirational quotes that she posts online - they keep me going on those days when nothing seems to go right.

Last year I asked her to help me out with my gelding as I was away for a couple of weeks and I was trying to bring him back into work after a KS operation. I was at a loss on how to progress with his fitness as we seemed to be stuck in a rut and Covid and lockdown weren't helping matters.

Sara listened to my concerns and asked all the questions I had been asking. She then challenged the answers that I had been given by others and asked even more questions. Then together we worked through some theories on what the problem could be.

I felt that she was actually working with me - she was honest, thorough and positive where I had lost faith and confidence in myself. She suggested a couple of different tactics and when I got the vet out showing the evidence of the issues, within a couple of days I had a plan of action.

My gelding had been in pain and his 'naughty' behaviour reflected this. Sara deals with all horses in a very calm and professional manner and the way she handled him ensured that he became my lovely horse again. With her support, I had the faith to change some aspects of his horse care and within a couple of months, I could see a massive improvement with him. I now visit her yard for lessons on a regular basis as the facilities are superb.

She continues to support and guide me and I now have a partnership with my horse that is improving daily.
